First steps of our Australian road trip: Sea cliff bridge, Wollongong, Kangaroo Valley

Hellooooo, here we are, Joe is ready, the portable fridge is full and the most important, WE ARE READY! After having doing our laundry, having seen our friends and enjoyed a brunch at our lovely Dairy, today is the first day of our road trip! We are so excited, I can feel the excitement but it is also stressful as we need to make this road trip our own routine. Leaving alongside the road is not easy but it is worth it to enjoy the beautiful spots around Australia. There is so much to see!! Coucouuuu, ça y est, Joe est prêt, le frigo est plein et le plus important, NOUS SOMMES PRÊTS ! Après avoir fait quelques lessives, vu nos amis et profité d’un brunch à notre endroit préféré le Dairy, aujourd’hui est le premier jour de notre road trip ! On est super excités, mais on est également un peu stressés comme nous devons faire de ce road trip, notre routine. Vivre en vadrouille n’est pas facile mais ça vaut le coup pour profiter des jolis endroits tout autour de l’Australie. Il y a tellement à découvrir !!

The first spot of our road trip was the Sea Cliff Bridge. This bridge has been built far from the cliff as there were a lot of rocks falling onto the road and destroying it each time it occurred. This construction was really impressive. Le premier spot de notre road trip a été le Sea Cliff Bridge. Ce pont a été construit en décalage par rapport aux falaises car de nombreuses pierres tombaient sur la route et la détruisait à chaque fois. Cette construction était vraiment impressionnante.

Then, we had a stop at the beautiful and quiet Wollongong. Its lighthouses with the blue sky were really nice. Ensuite, nous avons fait un stop dans la tranquille ville de Wollongong. Ses phares avec le ciel bleu étaient vraiment canons.

For the first night in our car Joe, Joe Le Prado, we went to Kangaroo Valley. We planned to camp in free campground thanks to the app Wikicamps. Really useful. This first campground helped us to organize a bit the car, the drawers… Once the dusk came, a lot of wildlife came with it as well. We saw our first wombats and kangaroos (the reason why this parc is called like this ^^). The cool thing is that we could be very close to them. First night in a camp and first night with the wildlife, this road trip is going to be epic. Stay tuned to know everything about our adventure!! Do not forget, we love you. I&A

Pour la première nuit dans notre voiture Joe Le Prado, nous sommes allés à Kangaroo Valley. Nous avons prévu de faire des campings gratuits grâce à l’application très pratique WikiCamps. Ce premier camping nous a permis d’organiser les derniers détails de la voiture, les tiroirs… Une fois que le crépuscule est tombé, une flopée d’animaux est sortie. Nous avons vu nos premiers wombats et kangourous (ce parc porte bien son nom ^^). C’était vraiment cool de pouvoir s’en approcher de très près. Premier nuit en camping et première nuit avec les animaux, ce road trip va être excellent. Restés connectés pour tout savoir sur notre aventure. N’oubliez pas, on vous aime. I&A
